INTERESTED IN
FOSTERING?

As a foster-based rescue, we rely on the kindness of our volunteers to take dogs into their homes until they are adopted.  In-home fostering is a wonderful way to help dogs transition from shelter life to becoming a part of a loving family. By providing a temporary home, you can give these dogs the love and attention they need to thrive. Not only does fostering help the dogs, but it also helps free up space in shelters for other animals in need.

If you are considering fostering, please read our foster guidelines and fill out a foster application.

Can't commit to fostering full time?

Short term fostering is a wonderful way to help out by providing temporary care when a main foster needs a break. It's a flexible and rewarding way to get involved, even if you can only commit to a short period of time such as a weekend or a few days here and there. We re also looking for dog walkers to take foster dogs on walks while their foster parents are t work.

FOSTER APPLICATION

Being a part of each dog's journey is incredibly rewarding, and we are grateful for all those who choose to join us in our MUTT LIFE mission. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of animals in need.

Please Note: If you are interested in fostering a specific dog to potentially adopt, please instead fill out the adoption application. We do a foster to adopt trial period for all adoptions. The foster application if for people who want to routinely foster and will be added to our foster emailing list and be contacted when we have foster needs.
