Next Transport: May 10th
We are once again partnering with our friends at Habersham County Animal Control & Rabun Paws 4 Life in rural Georgia, along with The Arkansas Pet Savers in Arkansas to help stray and abandoned dogs get a second chance at an amazing life in a loving forever home.
Most of these dogs come from less than ideal living situations and are commonly abandon by their owners, dumped on a country road, and/or come from neglectful situations. When we get these dogs out of the shelter, we’re not just changing their lives — we’re also making room for others who desperately need help. By reducing overcrowding, we help shelters avoid reaching capacity and lower the risk of euthanasia for dogs still waiting for their chance. Every foster or adoption creates a life-saving ripple effect.

Every dog needs a foster or adopter in place in order to catch their ride north—so if you’re able to open your heart and home, now is the perfect time. Whether you’re ready to adopt or can foster temporarily, you’ll be making a life-saving difference.
We are currently collecting donations to send back to Georgia including dog beds, blankets, towels, puppy pads, toys, treats, etc. Please reach out to muttlifewi@gmail.com if you would like to donate and we can coordinate drop-off/pickup. DONATIONS NEED TO BE MADE BY FRIDAY MAY 9th to get on the van in time!
Meet & Greet with Our Adoptable Dogs!
Meet & Greet event at Farm & Fleet in Grafton, Wisconsin on May 17th from 12:00 to 2:00 PM.
It’s a great opportunity to meet some of our adoptable dogs in person, learn about volunteering, fostering, and how to donate! Approved adopters are able to adopt dogs right at the event!
Upcoming Transport Alert: Monday, June 2, 2025
We’re thrilled to share that our first life-saving transport is scheduled for Monday, June 2nd, 2025, in partnership with Fort Bend County Animal Services (TX) and the amazing team at Dog Is My CoPilot, through the Petco Love partnership.
This transport brings a group of deserving dogs from overcrowded Texas shelters to a fresh start here in Wisconsin—where fosters, adopters, and a loving community await them.
Many of these dogs still need foster homes or pre-approved adopters to secure their spot on the transport.
